MASkargo ACF 08 Live Blog

Our tour of MASkargo ACC has now come to end. We came back to the main building and had our lunch. After a little farewell with MASkargo officials and some goodie bags later, we embarked onto the bus and are on our way back to Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur. ACF 08 is finally over, well wishes to all that attended and have a safe trip home, we will meet again at Schiphol ACF 2010!

We are now at the Animal Hotel inside MASkargo ACC. We are seeing kennels with a number of cute dogs and some angry looking ones housed for quarrantine. We were informed that MASkargo handled the massive number of horses that were brought in from all over the world for the FEI World Endurance Championship 2008 last week. FEI World Endurance Championship 2008 is ongoing now in Terengganu Endurance Park, in the East Cost state of Terengganu. ACF 08 delegates who wishes to stay back and enjoy a bit of Malaysia, now have one more good reason not to go back yet.

We are in the hangar of MASkargo ACC, touring the facilities and viewing MASkargo airplanes. MASkargo officials are enthusiastically explaining in detail of equipment and procedures that MASkargo employ. Animal Hotel visit will come slightly later.

Delegates are now watching MASkargo corporate video before starting the tour of ACC. The first stop will be at the Animal Hotel, 3 kilometers away from MASkargo main building.

After a detailed presentation by Anthony Clement, the delegates now are having their tea break and light refreshments. We are to go for the tour of MASkargo ACC in a short while.
