KUALA LUMPUR, 15 May 2013 – Six physically-challenged individuals were given the “gift of mobility” as each received a brand new Auto Light Weight wheelchairs donated by MASkargo Sdn. Bhd.

The donation made to individuals via the Malaysian Association Help for the Poor and Terminally Ill (PMPPMM) is part of MASkargo’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort, aimed to enrich the lives of people with disabilities.

“This CSR initiative is our response to reality. As the leading cargo airline in Malaysia we would like to put a fine example in developing social work as part of our corporate culture,” said Amiroel Shazrie Yussof, Senior Manager Corporate Communications of MASkargo.

He added, “Our contribution today is targeted to benefit the six individuals with special needs and is aimed at helping them overcome challenges as well as integrate them with the mainstream society. MASkargo is happy to support and help the physically challenged to lead normal lives and be part of the society.”
