The B747-400F aircraft carried 185 pieces of steel pipes with a total weight of 101.2 tons in various lengths and the longest was almost 38 feet.
Manager for Freighter Operations & Charters, Che Adenan Che Wan said, “It was a historic moment for MASkargo when we successfully delivered the over-sized oil and gas equipment from Oslo in Norway to Kota Kinabalu.
"It was really a challenge for MASkargo to load and unload the over sized pipes as most of the items we transport are of normal size.
"This goes to show that size and weight is no obstacle for MASkargo. We are well-equipped to handle the most precious of cargo as well as consignment of all shapes and sizes," said Adenan.
