SUB: REVISION OF FUEL SURCHARGE FOR UPLIFT OF CARGO ON MALAYSIA AIRLINES SERVICES
Reference is made to our circular DSC 2C 3354 dated 29 March 2002.
In view of the fact that the fuel price index has continuously exceeded 150 for the past few weeks, Malaysia Airlines will revise the fuel surcharge for the uplift of cargo on Malaysia Airlines services to the following levels effective 01 March 2003:
| From Malaysia to IATA Areas 1 and 2 as well as Australia and New Zealand | : | MYR 0.57/kg | | From Malaysia to IATA Area 3(except Australia and New Zealand) | : | MYR 0.30/kg | | Uplift of SCR 007 (Fruits & Vegetables) from Malaysia to Europe | : | MYR 0.38/kg | | Uplift of SCR 007 (Fruits & Vegetables) from Malaysia to AITA Area 3 | : | MYR 0.30/kg | | Between Malaysia Domestic points | : | Not applicable | | Shipments under Minimum Charge | : | Not applicable |
Kindly note that the above surcharge will be based on chargeable weight.
