MASkargo Announces Changes in Management Structure

Sepang (Malaysia), 19 March 2007 - Malaysia Airlines Cargo Sdn Bhd (MASkargo) today announces a change in management structure of three departments within the division, in line with efforts to further strengthen the company.

With effect from 1 March 2007, Chan Chee Huat, previously Senior Manager Finance is being promoted to General Manager Finance. Effective 1 April 2007, Shahari Sulaiman, previously General Manager Business Development & Sales, will assume the position of General Manager Cargo Operations responsible for operational matters related to MASkargo systemwide.

On the same date, Mohd Yunus Idris, previously General Manager Cargo Operations will assume the position of General Manager Business Development & Sales responsible for all commercial and sales activities in MASkargo.

Chan Chee Huat first started out as an accounts clerk at Malaysia Airlines' aero-technology division. He then decided to pursue a course in ACCA and graduated in 1985.

Later he was promoted to an accountant; a few years later to a senior accountant and five years ago he was made a Senior Finance Manager.

He leads a team of 83 staff in the Finance Cargo Department whose role is to come up with a timely and accurate financial forecast on MASkargo's income statement every month and streamline the billing process.

Shahari Sulaiman has been with MAS since 1985, accumulating 15 years of experience in engineering capacities and the past 3 years in sales.

He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Aerospace Engineering.

He brings to the team a vision to provide enhanced value-added services to MASkargo's business partners as well as to maintain a consistently profitable and well-respected organization.

Mohd Yunus Idris joined the Cargo Planning and Projects Department at MASkargo in 1994.

Having graduated from University of Kansas with a Masters in Urban Planning, he started working in MAS going through a wide range of responsibilities until he finally settled down at Cargo Operations.

With his experience and leadership, he has led the MASkargo team through a Change Acceleration Process aimed at important service performance level.
