Carriage of Dangerous Goods

Ref: CMC/CIR/002/146 To: All Customer Airlines MASkargo recently received strict instructions from Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation that all incoming shipments of Dangerous Goods and Arms are required to have the information on commodity transparent to the ground handler.

Pre-alert is to be made compulsory and all shipments that require permit either from "Royal Malaysian Police, Malaysian Atomic Energy Licensing Board or Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation" for transportation of "Arms, Ammunition, Explosives or Radioactive Materials" to have the information available in Cargo Record prior uplift and before it lands in Malaysia.

This exercise is to be implemented with immediate effect as to enable the ground handler or security to secure any requirements for special handling or storage.
