MASkargo Share Warmth With Muslim Care - Syria Chapter

SHAH ALAM, 18 JANUARY 2013 – MASkargo, no stranger to corporate social responsibility, surprised the Muslim Care – Syria Chapter association with 300 pieces of blankets donated to keep the Syrians warm, particularly through the harsh winter.

 

The donation which brought smiles and cheers was initiated by MASkargo Emergency Response Team (ERT) to express their care and concern to those in needs.

“We enthusiastically came together for this initiative to support those who needed a bit of a lift. Hopefully this will bring warmth and extra comfort to the receivers,” said Mohd Shuhaimi Haji Hassan, MASkargo Chief Commander of ERT Global.

 

He added, “Our contribution today is part of our ongoing efforts to work with the community, in support of the development of its culture, education and social-economic standing. We are glad that we are able to aid Muslim Care – Syria Chapter in our quest to better serve the community.”

“The aid is very much welcomed and appreciated. It means so much to the Syrians who are already displaced by the war. The aim of Muslim Care – Syria Chapter is to provide help and relief for Syrians and these blankets will indeed be a relief during winter,” said Abdul Razak Mohamed, spokesperson for Muslim Care.
