Lion Roar In MASkargo To Welcome Year Of The Snake
KLIA, 20 FEBRUARY 2013 – To usher the lunar new year of the snake, MASkargo hosted a two-day Lion Dance choreographic tour of its Advanced Cargo Centre and customers offices.
The acrobatic Lion Dancers kicked off their performance on Tuesday morning at MASkargo CEO’s office and paraded throughout the entire office floor. Many of the staff were caught by surprise and a mob started to build up – all excited to have their photos taken with the orange-clad troupe.
An integral part of the Chinese New Year celebrations, the Lion Dance is believed to bring good luck and fortune to the business it visits.
Following that, the MASkargo’s CEO and Senior Management team moved with the troupe for its performance at the customers offices situated within the Cargo Complex.
“It’s important for everyone to keep up with this customary tradition as part of the celebration,” said Mohd Yunus Idris, CEO of MASkargo.
He added, “This is our platform to foster customer relations within the cargo complex and part of our yearly initiatives to strengthen ties with staff, customers and industry.”
