KLIA & GEORGETOWN, 14 FEBRUARY 2014 - MASkargo ushers in the Year of the Horse by hosting a traditional Lion Dance choreographic performance at its Advanced Cargo Centre, KLIA and Penang Cargo Centre as well as its customer’s offices.
The acrobatic Lion Dancers began their performance on Tuesday morning at the CEO’s office and paraded throughout the entire office floor. The staff was caught by surprise and an audience started to build up – all excited to have their photos taken with the orange-clad troupe.
Following that, the Senior Management team accompanied by the troupe made their way to the customer’s offices situated at the Cargo Complex.
“It is important for everyone to keep up with this customary tradition as part of the celebration,” said Mohd Yunus Idris, CEO of MASkargo.
He added, “This is our platform to foster customer relations within the cargo complex and is part of our yearly initiatives to strengthen ties with staff, customers and industry.”

A significant part of the Chinese New Year holiday, the lion dancers showcased a stunning performance in KLIA and Penang and weaved their way through various customer offices, warding off evil spirits, assuring good luck, and collecting Hong Bao – good luck red envelopes – along the way.
