Australian Cattle Take Off For Japan

KITAKYUSHU, 7 MARCH 2012 – MASkargo, the national air cargo carrier transported 300 livestock’s, weighing up to 100 tonnes to the Island of Fukouka, Japan.

The flight which is chartered by a private Australian company departed Sydney Airport at 0835 hours on board the Boeing 747-400F and landed at Kitakyushu Airport (KKJ) at 1625 hours on the same day.

The ten hour flight marks MASkargo’s first flight into KKJ.

“Furthering our mission to provide chartered services to the vast market, MASkargo is offering a very competitive price to cater customer’s needs,” comment Mrs. Masita Mohd Dahalan, Manager Freighter Operations & Charter Sales of MASkargo.

Since the inception of MASkargo’s six-star Animal Hotel in 1998, it has excelled its sales through transporting various live animals to Turkey, China, Pakistan and India, to name a few.

The flight into KKJ, an offline station, is coordinated by Muhammad Sarizal bin Mohamed Nazri.

The Island of Fukouka which is situated between Tokyo and Shanghai could be a market potential area as MASkargo flies into Narita and Kansai on a weekly basis.
